Merino Compact is a high-pressure, load-bearing decorative laminate which is resistant to atmospheric and chemical agents. It has an inner core of celluloid fibres impregnated with thermosetting resins.

Its composition allows sawing, drilling, machining and chiselling on site. Screw threads may be cut into it and self-threading screws can also be used.
